Agent Zero could be a Net?

Gilbert Arenas is now an unrestricted free agent.

So why should you -- as a Nets fan -- care?

Well, because ESPN.com’s Marc Stein reports he wants to play with whatever team trades for Dwight Howard. Agent Zero and Howard both have the same agent, Dan Fegan.

Arenas’ explosiveness is gone. Injuries have stolen it all away. It’s sad. He’s not even close to the player he once was.

But for a Nets’ team that ranked 28th in scoring, his 13.2 points per game average would help.
