The Nets are pursuing free agent forward Andrei Kirilenko, according to multiple reports.

ESPN.com's Chad Ford had reported this in his insider column.

Kirilenko is a player that can do a little bit of everything. He can guard multiple positions on the floor, while averaging in double figures in scoring. He's also Russian. So is Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov.

The Nets are also reportedly interested in Shawne Williams, and have been interested in Josh Howard as well. They could also bring back Kris Humphries.

The Nets have $22 million in cap space if they amnesty Travis Outlaw. They have obvious needs at the small forward and power forward positions. They're going to fill them.

While their No. 1 target is and remains Dwight Howard, they're going to have to move on -- for the time being.
