Here are some highlights from Nets’ shootaround Monday morning

Nets backup point guard Jordan Farmar, who has missed the last two games with a sore right groin, went from probably probable to probably out for Monday night’s game against Cleveland.

Coach Avery Johnson put the odds of him playing at 30 percent. “He’s looking a little bit better for Wednesday,” Johnson said. “We’ll see how he gets through this morning and how he recovers this afternoon.”

• Center Shelden Williams is the only Net to have appeared in all 46 games this season. Don’t expect that streak to end Monday night.

Williams hurt his shoulder in the second half of Saturday night’s deflating loss to the Hornets, but should be good to go for the Cavaliers game, Johnson said.

• New acquisition Gerald Wallace will play his second game as a Net.

“For him, because he’s a veteran, we don’t expect it to take long [for him to get acclimated; we’re going to keep our package small,” Johnson said. “But he did a nice job. That block he and Gerald [Green] had from behind? We didn’t have any 3s that could do that for us. we think it’s not going to take that long, but we understand there is going to be a transition period.”

• The Nets are 6.5 games out with 20 games remaining, so the playoffs are basically a long shot at this point.

Johnson said the Nets would have to go on a “crazy winning streak” for it to become a possibility.
