The Nets trailed by as many as 19 on Friday night.

But get this: they won.

Deron Williams tied Rajon Rondo’s NBA single-game season-high with 20 assists, Gerald Wallace had 24 points, a season-high 18 rebounds, five assists, six steals and a win-sealing block in the final seconds, and the Nets stunned the Warriors, 102-100, in Oakland.

The Nets (18-35), who also got 20 points each from Gerald Green and Kris Humphries, have now won back-to-back games for the third time this season. It was the first time in 2011-12 that three different Nets scored 20 or more points in the same game.

The Nets trailed 76-57 with 4:35 remaining in the third quarter and 84-70 entering the fourth, but outscored the Warriors 32-16 in the final period to earn an impressive come-from-behind victory.

The Warriors were ahead 90-76 with 9:33 left, but Green sparked a 22-8 run with five straight points. Wallace had 10 points during the run, D-Will hit a 3-pointer to bring the Nets within 98-87, and Humphries drained a free throw with 2:00 remaining to knot the game at 98.

David Lee hit a 13-footer on the ensuing Warriors’ possession, but Green finished a baseline dunk and then a runner following a Humphries’ steal, allowing the Nets to take their first lead, 102-100, since they were ahead 3-0. It was the last points they needed.

D-Will swatted a Brandon Rush shot with 29 seconds left, and Wallace rejected Charles Jenkins inside with two ticks remaining, as the Nets improved to 11-16 on the road.

Williams, who also holds the NBA’s single-game season-high for points in a game (57), shot just 2-for-13 from the field. In fact, he didn’t hit his first field goal until the 9:57 mark of the fourth. Didn’t matter.

The Nets had 28 assists on their 35 field goals, and overcame 17 turnovers to prevail.

The Nets haven’t given their fans many reasons to celebrate this season. This was one of them.

They could’ve quit. They didn’t. And they were rewarded for their resiliency.
