Ryan Harrison, the American who wowed at the U.S. Open last year, is heading home early today after a straight-set loss to No. 23 Marin Cilic.

Harrison said he never felt he got into a rhythm at Louis Armstrong Stadium. "I played pretty bad from the beginning of the match," Harrison said.

The young wild card added it was particularly disappointing to lose so early when most of the competitors in this year's tournament haven't even showed up yet. "Half of the people haven't even arrived yet from the hurricane."
