Born: Laval, Quebec
How Acquired: Acquired by the Rangers in a blockbuster trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning on March 5, 2014 in exchange for Ryan Callahan, a 2015 first-round pick and a conditional 2014 second-round pick.
• St. Louis struggled upon being dealt to the Rangers, scoring just one goal in 19 regular-season games. But the 14-year veteran has returned to form in the playoffs, while mourning the death of his mother, France, to notch a team-high tying 13 points (team-high tying six goals, seven assists).
• A six-time All-Star, St. Louis, who won a Stanley Cup in 2003-04 and a gold medal with Team Canada in 2014, went undrafted and did not make his NHL debut until Oct. 6, 2000 at age 25. He has since won the Hart Trophy as league MVP in 2003-04.
