Each day from now until Feb. 2, ESPNNewYork.com will take you inside the challenge of staging the most unpredictable NFL title game ever. There are 35 days until the Super Bowl.

It’s the last Sunday of the regular season, which means we'll soon have a pretty good idea which teams have the easiest road to the Super Bowl.

In the meantime, here's a quick look at some interesting stories about the game from the past week.

• Halftime performer Bruno Mars tells the Associated Press he knows he’ll have to stay warm, and may just wear a “beekeeper suit.” So clearly someone needs to explain to him the kind of climate bees live in. I’ll bet Jay-Z wouldn’t make that mistake.

• The Daily News reports that a New York Super Bowl gives the NFL even greater opportunities to capitalize on the biggest game of the year.

• The New York Times took a hike to MetLife Stadium, which you won't be able to do on Super Sunday.

• Everyone is looking to capitalize on proximity to the Super Bowl, including, according to NJ.com, local Revolutionary War sites. By the way, the Liberty Science Center has a Gridiron Glory exhibit, which we are recruiting some age-appropriate football fans to review.

Come back daily for more on the issues, logistics and personalities surrounding Super Bowl XLVIII.
