The Yankees are taking the World Series Trophy to the Walter Reed Medical Center this morning, where they will meet with the wounded warriors.

Later, they will make their way to the White House, where they are expected to present President Obama with a signed No. 27 home jersey.

The President will probably welcome talking to the defending champs as he takes a break from derivatives. The Yankees are supposed to meet with the President at 3 p.m. I'll be at the White House and will update things here as soon as I can.
