Javy's speed limits

Later today, Javy Vazquez is probably going to be a big pregame topic even though he doesn't pitch again until Saturday.

Curt Schilling's comments with Colin Cowherd basically guaranteed that Vazquez would be the talk of the clubhouse. That leads us to this: According to ESPN Stats and Information guys, Vazquez's fastball is down two miles per hour this year from 91 on average to 89.

Schilling says his slow start is due to the AL-NL switch. Many Yankee fans are already sick of him because of 2004, while others want to give him a chance. Meanwhile, I wrote this optimistic piece before the year began.
