Welcome aboard, Kevin Millwood.

But the race for the fifth spot just finished so you are going to get at the end of the line. Millwood and his agent Scott Boras decided to wait on signing his minor league deal with the Yankees and now he will have to hope for either an injury or ineffectiveness to get his shot.

If Freddy Garcia and Bartolo Colonhang around, they will get the first two shots to be the fifth starter. If one goes, Millwood still has to wait for someone in the rotation to falter, while proving himself at Triple-A.

So Millwood could make an impact at some point, but there are a lot of dominoes that have to fall his way. Starting with, can he still pitch?
