With the injured Pedro Feliciano still unable to even play catch, Boone Logan has become more and more important -- so far he has shrunk from the job.

"I need to get more aggressive," Logan said. "I'm aiming the pitches a little bit. I need to get back in my groove. It is not fun going out there and not doing your job, giving up hits to lefties, walking lefties. My job was to get them all out and I'm not doing that right now."

On Friday, coming in during the seventh with one-out and one-man on, Logan allowed David Ortiz to double, J.D. Drew to hit a two-run double. With Feliciano's return unknown, Logan knows what he needs to correct.

"The slider is the pitch," Logan said.
