Derek Jeter probably said it best when asked why Robinson Cano hits so well at Fenway. Jeter said Cano hits well everywhere.
Cano didn't have any particular reason for his success here, but did say he is more intense here after going 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and two runs scored.
"You have to be 110 percent focused [here] because they don't waste any time," Cano said, alluding to how good the Red Sox play.
Cano's career batting average is .367 (84-for-229), the best ever for a Yankee with at least 200 at-bats in Boston, according to Elias.
He has hit in every one of his last seven games (15-for-30) at Fenway.
