Phil Hughes had a cortisone shot in his balky shoulder on April 28 and "feels significantly better," according to Brian Cashman.
He'll be shut down for two more weeks and then begin a throwing program. Assuming all goes well, Hughes could return to the rotation in 6-8 weeks. Full story up on the website soon.
