Nick Swisher is not in the lineup that’s posted on the clubhouse door about three hours before the first pitch. In Swisher’s place in Chris Dickerson. Dickerson also replaced Swisher on Sunday in the Subway Series finale. He had two hits and two RBI in the Yanks’ 9-3 win. Not sure why Swisher would get two straight days off, other than the fact that he’s hitting .214. He also may be hurt. He injured his forearm on a dive on the field’s outer track on Friday.

Either way, we’ll have an update here shortly. In other lineup news, Jorge Posada will be the Yanks’ DH against righty Carlos Villanueva.

Here is the complete Yanks’ lineup for Monday night:

Derek Jeter, 6
Curtis Granderson, 8
Mark Teixeira, 1B
Alex Rodriguez, 3B
Robinson Cano, 2B
Russell Martin, C
Jorge Posada, DH
Brett Gardner, LF
Chris Dickerson, RF

Bartolo Colon, RHP
