Derek Jeter says he doesn't believe in jinxes, but he may want to be careful in Boston.

Since the Core Four was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, they have been dropping left and right. First, Jorge Posada got hit on his knee. Now, he has a calf strain and the Yankees will determine his status on Friday.

Mariano Rivera has been out with stiffness in his side and won't pitch again until Friday at the earliest. Now, it's Andy Pettitte, who is likely going ot miss his next start.

Only the Captain, it seems, can overcome the power of the jinx. So far.
