Derek Jeter reached base in his first at-bat in three weeks leading off tonight's game against the Indians, but he is no closer to the 3,000-hit plateau. His dribbler to third base was misplayed by Lonnie Chisenhall and scored an E5. So the total remains 2,994 and counting.
