With Curtis Granderson waving a towel like M.L. Carr used to and Russell Martin and David Robertson cheering on, Robinson Cano nailed eight homers in his first round.

With his dad, Jose, who pitched briefly in the majors with the Astros, throwing to him, Cano hit one ball 472-feet. So far, only Adrian Gonzalez has hit more. Gonzalez nailed nine.
