Boone Logan rebounded from his messy inning in Tuesday night's 3-2 Yankees loss to the Rays by coming into a similarly treacherous situation -- two on, two out, two-run ballgame -- and blowing a 93 MPH fastball past Casey Kotchman to end the threat. Logan misplayed what should have been an inning-ending double play ball hit by Elliott Johnson on Tuesday, blowing Bartolo Colon's game and the Yankees 2-1 lead. Before the game, he was being ridden unmercifully in the Yankees clubhouse by Mariano Rivera, who was badgering him to go out and take fielding practice. "What, you never made an error?,'' Logan shot back. The question went unanswered. Rivera, of course, made a key error in the ninth inning of the seventh game of the 2001 World Series.
