Note to fans planning to attend the Yankees annual Holiday Food Drive at the Stadium on Wedneday: Manager Joe Girardi will arrive at approximately 10 a.m., and Robinson Cano is expected to get there about 11 and stay until noon. So if you're coming to see Robby, you can sleep an extra hour.
And if you're coming to make a donation, which hopefully, most of you are, you will be allowed to pull up to Gate 2 at the corner of Jerome ave. and 164th St. to drop off your food. Any fan donating at least 30 pounds of non-perishable food will receive a voucher good for two free grandstand or bleacher seats or two half-price tickets in selected general seating areas to one of 22 designated games in the 2012 season.
Please note, no rice or bottled water will be accepted.
