Says, "Let's play two!"

Here's the release from the Yankees on Madonna's second show in the Bronx.
Today it was announced that Madonna will perform a second show at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, September 8, two nights after her previously-announced first show on Thursday, September 6.

In the course of her phenomenal career, Madonna has a record-breaking 37 Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart along with a record-breaking 40 Number 1’s on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Song Charts. No other act has had more Top 10’s on the Hot 100 or Number 1’s on the Club Chart. Madonna has sold over 300 million albums and holds the record for the most successful tour by a solo artist in history.

The general public ticket on-sale will begin on Tuesday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m., online at www.livenation.com, via charge-by-phone at (800) 745-3000 and via TTY at (800) 943-4327.

Yankees full- and partial-season ticket licensees, Yankees Universe members, Yankees Group Leaders and Yankees.com subscribers will have the opportunity to take part in a special pre-on-sale, the details of which can be found at www.yankees.com/madonna.

Ticket prices are subject to change based on date/time of purchase. There will be no price adjustments for prior ticket purchases.

Over the previous two years, Yankee Stadium has hosted some of the biggest names in music, while taking its place as one of the most important venues on the concert circuit. In the near future, the Yankees will make major announcements regarding non-baseball sporting events that will be taking place at Yankee Stadium in the upcoming months.
