The Yankees struggled early on Wednesday against a series of Tampa Bay reliever, starting with former Yankee Kyle Farnsworth. But the Yanks finally got on the scoreboard in the sixth, and tied the game up in the seventh, 2-2.

In the sixth, Russell Martin led off with a single, Alex Rodriguez doubled, Mark Teixeira walked, and Raul Ibanez drove a run home with a ground-out to first.

In the seventh, Cole Gardner walked with one out, and was driven home on a long double in the gap by Jorge Vazquez.
