The first pitch thrown at Marlins Park was a fastball by Ricky Nolasco at precisely 1:12. The first hit came a millisecond later when Derek Jeter smacked it into rightfield for a double. Jeter came around to score two batters later on a sacrifice fly by Robinson Cano. So far, the crowd sounds like it's split about 50-50 between Yankees and Marlins fans.
