Eeee-Bomb-Yez gives Yankees the lead

The .150 spring batting average now seems about as relevant to Raul Ibanez as a hairbrush. The Yankees new left-handed DH just hit a three-run homer off James Shields in the third inning and the Yankees have erased the 4-0 deficit Carlos Pena put them into, taking a 6-4 lead. Lost in all the panic about Ibanez' poor BA is the fact that he did lead the team in spring HRs with three -- and had another pulled back -- and knocked in a healthy 10 runs. The long ball is what they signed Ibanez to provide and he has wasted no time in providing it.
