Derek Jeter's leadoff home run was the 25th of his career, breaking a tie for the all-time franchise mark with Rickey Henderson.

Mr. 400 smacked a 3-1 pitch off Wei-Yin Chen. It was the first batter Chen had ever faced.

Jeter continues to lead the Yankees with his fearless belief in himself. The Yankees, though, didn't follow in the first.

The Yankees looked as if they might make it a long first inning for Chen. Nick Swisher followed Jeter with a double. However, the Yankees did not get another hit in the inning and Chen escaped down just 1-0.

Henderson hit his 24 homers from 1985-89.
