First pitch for Friday’s Home Opener is slated for 1:08 p.m. But beforehand, there is some business that needs to be attended to.

Here is a look at the schedule of events leading up to the Yankees-Angels game:

10:20-11:20 a.m. Yankees hit
11:00 a.m. Gates open to ticket holders
11:20 a.m.-12:10 p.m. Angels hit
12:44-12:54 p.m. Baseline introductions
12:54 p.m. Introduction of giant American flag, unfurled by West Point Cadets
12:54 p.m. Presentation of Colors: West Point Color Guard
12:55 p.m. Flyover and national anthem introduction’
12:56 p.m. National anthem by Jeremy Jordan; U.S. Navy F-18 Super Hornet flyover
1:03 p.m. Umpires and Managers to Home Plate
1:06 p.m. Yankees take the field; ceremonial first pitch thrown by Jorge Posada

During the morning, Albert Pujols, Derek Jeter and Joe Girardi will address the media at formal press conferences. We’ll also be brining you plenty of different items from the clubhouse. Stay tuned.
