The Yankees were the only team in the majors with no RBIs from their No. 3 and 4 hitters this season, according to Elias.

Not anymore.

Alex Rodriguez, who is locked in since his change to the No. 3 spot in the batting order, belted his first home run of the season to dead center field leading off the third inning.

Rodriguez now has 630 homers, tying him with Ken Griffey Jr. for fifth place on baseball’s all-time list.

A-Rod, who is 2-for-2 Friday with two runs scored and a stolen base, has hit 285 homers with the Yankees.
