"The moment that probably comes into my head the most about Fenway Park has nothing to do with the Yankees and the Red Sox," said Joe Girardi, whose team will help the Red Sox celebrate 100 years of their stadium by wearing 1912 uniforms. "It is Carlton Fisk's home run. I'm a friend of Carlton's. I used to train with Carlton and see him almost every time we go in. That's probably my most vivid memory."
