Joe Girardi scratched Mark Teixeira because of flu-like symptoms prior to Tuesday night's game against the Twins. Teixeira's illness has forced Girardi to change his entire lineup.

Derek Jeter, originally at short, takes a DH day. Eduardo Nunez will play short and bat seventh. Nick Swisher, who was to DH, will play first. Andruw Jones will bat fifth, while Curtis Granderson will hit sixth.

Teixeira seemed fine earlier today when he filmed an interview for an upcoming edition of Bombers Beat.
