The Daily Cervelli is a recurring feature of the blog in which we chart the progress of the popular former Yankees backup catcher, Francisco Cervelli, as he attempts to play his way back to the big leagues as a member of the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

Against Rochester, Francisco Cervelli went 1-for-4 with a run scored. This pushed his average to the brink of .100. He is now 3-for-32 (.094). He caught Dellin Betances, allowing five earn runs in 4 2/3 innings. It was Betances' second loss of the season.
