Brett Gardner was scratched from Wednesday night’s lineup with right elbow soreness. Gardner likely suffered the injury making a catch in the third inning of Tuesday night’s game. Andruw Jones is now in the lineup. He’ll be playing left field and batting seventh. Jones is 9-for-12 with five home runs off Twins starter Jason Marquis. The two haven’t faced each other in five seasons, though.

Your new lineup:

Derek Jeter SS
Curtis Granderson CF
Mark Teixeira 1B
Robinson Cano 2B
Nick Swisher DH
Raul Ibanez RF
Andruw Jones LF
Eric Chavez 3B
Russell Martin C
