Brett Gardner will travel to Rochester tonight and will play in his first rehab game since going on the DL on April 18 with a right elbow strain for the Triple-A SWB Yankees on Monday. Joe Girardi said he didn't know how many games Gardner would need to play before being ready to return to the Yankees but anticipated it would be "two or three.''

"Really, it depends on how he feels, how comfortable he feels with his swing,'' Girardi said. "Shouldn’t be too long.''
