Arrivederci to The Daily Cervelli

5/18/2012

The Daily Cervelli is a regular feature of the blog in which we track the progress of Francisco Cervelli, the popular former Yankees backup catcher, as he tries to play his way back to the show as a member of the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.

All good things must come to an end, and so it is with great regret that we must say ciao for now to The Daily Cervelli.

At least we leave on a high note: Our hero has hit a two-run homer tonight, his first for SWB, who lead the Toledo Mud Hens, 7-3, in the third inning.

We promise to revisit this blog when, and if, Cervelli gets his batting average up to .300. (He is currently at .224).
