Here is a selection from today's blockbuster Yankees live chat:

Rich (Oswego, NY): Do you think Phil Hughes will be able to bounce back from his latest bad outing? He's thrown well of late, but could this be his downfall?

Andrew Marchand: I think Hughes is a No. 4 or No. 5 starter. I don't want to demean his previous four starts, but I guess I will. They were against bad teams. He can have pretty good starts against bad teams, where he gets out of a couple of jams and turns what could be a bad start into a good one. The Angels just crushed him. He has had success against the Tigers, but we shall see this Sunday. Overall, he is probably best in the pen where he can throw gas for a couple of innings. He needs a third pitch to really be a top-half-of-the-rotation guy.
