WASHINGTON -- Alex Rodriguez's third-inning RBI single that scored Derek Jeter from second was the 1,924th ribbie of A-Rod's career and moved him into a tie for sixth place on baseball's all-time list with Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx.

A-Rod now has 31 RBI for the season, which moved him into a tie for fifth on his own team, with Raul Ibañez.
