Raul Ibanez, who suffered a chipped tooth and split lip trying to avoid a foul ball in the Yankees dugout during Sunday's game, was not in the clubhouse before tonight's game with the Rays.

Ibanez remained back in New York for treatment, but was expected to arrive in time to be available as a pinch hitter if necessary.

"I'm not exactly sure when he'll land,'' Joe Girardi said. "I'm thinking he'll be available but I'll have to wait and see.''
