The Yankees are in discussions with the NHL about bringing the Winter Classic to the Bronx, but a holdup has been all three local teams wanting to be involved.

Since we at ESPNNewYork.com are interested in solving the world's problems (as well as in pageviews), we suggested to Yanks COO Lonn Trost, why not a doubleheader?

“It has been suggested,” said Trost, adding that part is all in the NHL’s hands.

OK, so somebody else thought of it first, but if it happens, at least, give us some props.
