Today's Yankees-Tigers game began at 1:34 after a 29-minute rain delay and though the skies are cloudy, no more rain has fallen after this morning's epic downpour. The Yankees are up, 2-0, after an RBI triple by Raul Ibanez and an RBI single by Ichiro Suzuki, both in the second inning off Doug Fister. Hiroki Kuroda escaped trouble in the first when, after an infield hit by Prince Fielder, Miguel Cabrera took too wide a turn off second and was caught in a rundown, ending the inning.
