A-Rod to DH tomorrow

For the Class A Tampa Yankees, that is.

Still, it is a step in the right direction for Alex Rodriguez and the Yankees, who have been without their third baseman since July 24, when King Felix Hernandez broke his left hand with an 88 mph changeup.

GM Brian Cashman said he did not know how many rehab games A-Rod would need before returning to the Yankees, but said "I would not rule out" the possibility A-Rod could rejoin the team next week in St. Petersburg when the Yankees play an important three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
