Even on one leg, Derek Jeter makes history.

Despite being hobbled by a jammed left ankle, the Yankees captain pulled even with Willie Mays -- and pulled into the top 10 on baseball's all-time hits list -- with a bloop single in the seventh inning that gave him 3,283 career hits.

It also drove in Steve Pearce from second base with the Yankees' second run of the game to give them a 2-0 lead over the Boston Red Sox.
