The Yankees say Nick Swisher was not exactly scratched from the lineup; the lineup posted in their clubhouse was "a misprint," according to a team spokseman, and was intended to include Eric Chavez from the beginning.

Swisher, who recently snapped an 0-for-28 skid, has bad numbers (8-for-45, 15 K's, .178) against Rays starter James Shields, but Chavez's are worse in a smaller sample -- 3-for-19 (.158).
