Andy Pettitte’s return to the mound may have to wait.

Tuesday’s weather forecast calls for thunderstorms and strong winds in the Bronx.

It isn’t expected to stop raining until 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to weather.com.

Pettitte is slated to start for the first time since fracturing his ankle on June 27 against the Indians. The veteran will be on a pitch count of about 70, manager Joe Girardi said.

Ricky Romero, who will oppose Pettitte for the Blue Jays, is 0-13 with a 7.91 ERA in his last 14 starts.

We will have constant updates throughout the day, so stay tuned.
