Yankees targets? Official free agent list

Here are the players that can officially become free agents at 12:01 a.m. Saturday. As we have said here, with Hal Steinbrenner focused on a $189M payroll, the Yankees will likely be more active in shorter-term deals and trades to restructure their roster.

But maybe there are some hidden gems for the Yankees. The list is provided by the Players Association.
