Derek Jeter appeared on "The Michael Kay Show" this afternoon on ESPN New York 98.7 FM, and vowed to be ready by Opening day after suffering a broken ankle in the playoffs.

He also dealt with a diverse range of topics, from the New York Post's "DEREK EATER" headline, with accompanying photographs, to Alex Rodriguez's latest injury, and his disappointment with how the Yankees' 2012 season turned out.
