Jeter headed for the cliff?

One of the biggest questions facing the Yankees heading into the 2013 season was whether Derek Jeter, who will turn 39 in June, could possibly equal his excellent 2012 season, in which he won the Silver Slugger award as the best offensive shortstop in the game. And that was before he suffered a broken ankle that needed surgery.

On Monday, Brian Cashman told us that he still expects Jeter to be ready for Opening Day despite the fact that he hasn't started running on the ankle yet. Today, I have a story up on the website that examines Jeter's prospects for 2013. You can read it here.
