Yankees ace CC Sabathia will receive a "Thurman" -- an award for on-field excellence and community service -- at the 33rd annual Thurman Munson Awards Dinner, established in honor of the late Yankees captain, Tuesday night at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan.

Along with Sabathia, the Mets Ike Davis, Chris Canty of the Giants, former Knick Greg Anthony and U.S. Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman will receive Thurmans. Yankees pitcher David Phelps will also be honored with the Rising Star Award.

Over its history, the dinner, led by Munson's widow, Diana, has raised more than $12 million to assist children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through the AHRC New York City Foundation.
