Derek Jeter has been in a playful mood the first two days of training camp.

On Monday, he took great pleasure in joshing with the fans at The Boss, who like to shout "Jeter! Jeter!" at him as he waits his turn at the batting cage. He lets them do it a few times then turns to them suddenly and shouts back, "What?" Gets 'em every time.

And today, he entertained the crowds at the back field by grunting like Monica Seles every time he threw to first during infield practice. He also flipped a ball toward a reporter who was videotaping the drill and laughed when the scribe -- OK, it was me -- fumbled the catch. Good times.
