Clear skies in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Well, relatively anyway.

In contrast to the monsoon that pelted Steinbrenner Field in Tampa on Tuesday morning, the rain was barely more than a drizzle 15 miles to the west in Clearwater, and although the skies are overcast and the field is wet, it looks as if the game between the Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies will go off at or close to its scheduled 1:05 p.m. starting time.

No NY TV or radio but I will provide some live game updates via my Twitter feed, @ESPNNYYankees.
