Just arrived at Dodger stadium to learn the Yankees-Dodgers series, which kicks off tonight at 10:10 NY time, isn't quite the hot ticket it was expected to be when the schedule was announced. On the press box elevator, a stadium employee told me she had just bought four loge level tickets at face value, $55 each, for Sunday night's game. "They have plenty of seats left,'' she said. "They were trying to sell them as part of a seven-game package and people can't do it now.''
Think of it, Yankee fans. You can fly roundtrip to LA for about $500, get a ticket for Sunday's game, parking ($15) and a hot dog and still spend less than you would for a seat inside the moat at Yankee Stadium.
