For the 16th straight year, the Yankees are Forbes' most valuable franchise in baseball. According to the magazine, the franchise is worth $2.3 billion. This is 24 percent higher than what Forbes estimated in 2012.

So is Hal Steinbrenner going to sell? Well, on Tuesday he made a tour of the drive-time talk shows, including our own "Michael Kay Show", and said he has no interest in selling now or in the future. Despite perpetual rumors, Steinbrenner didn't leave any wiggle room about his intentions. So, we shall see.

If Hal ever does sell, he will be able to take care of generation after generation of Steinbrenners. Of course, if he doesn't sell, he'll probably be able to do that anyway.
