For the first time in three days, it appears the Yankees are going to play a game.

The Yanks are scheduled to start on time against the Orioles on Friday. It has stopped raining in the Bronx, but it's still quite cold as game time draws closer.

The tarp is still on the field, but that's likely just to be safe, in case it starts raining between now and 7 p.m.

The forecast seems to be improving too, as it now predicts that it will just be cloudy during the game, with no precipitation. Earlier forecasts had shown some rain.

NO BIG DEAL TO YOUKILIS: Cleveland reliever Carlos Carrasco received an eight-game suspension for throwing at Yankees third baseman Kevin Youkilis earlier this week. Youkilis didn't have much to say on the matter.

"Doesn't have anything to do with my life," Youkilis said.
